Vacature E-commerce manager Scandics

Vivara, part of CJ Wildbird Foods Ltd, has been around for over 20 years. The company has grown into a leading specialist in the development and sale of products for small wild animals (mainly birds). Vivara collaborates exclusively with numerous nature conservation organisations at home and abroad. Vivara is active in 10 countries on the European market selling its products via mail order directly to the consumer (B2C) and via the B2B sales channel to the larger garden centres, construction, supermarkets, various retail chains, nature associations and government agencies.

For the Scandic market, based in the Netherlands (Vierlingsbeek), we are immediately looking for a:

E-COMMERCE MANAGER SCANDICS (40 uur)

Important in advance:

  • You are native Swedish/Danish and you speak the language of the local customers;
  • Proficiency in the Dutch language is not required;
  • It is preferable that you live close to our location Vierlingsbeek/Venray (NL).

What is your role:

Leading the e-Commerce Scandics (Sweden/Denmark) team (1,7 FTE) you will support the delivery of the eCommerce strategy for the Vivara websites, including product and pricing strategy. You will be accountable for maximising the commercial performance of the Scandics websites, optimising product, pricing, and promotions to secure results. Assisting the CCO B2C Director you will be fully conversant with digital strategy, online and offline marketing campaigns, conversion rate and UX optimisation and Google Analytics.

What are your tasks:

  • Setting up and managing annual budgets and ensuring related KPI’s are achieved for the Scandics market
  • Creating yearly e-tail plans for various webshops and improving various e-tail KPIs like improving relevance for customers, improving UX and persuasion techniques, increasing purchases and commercial development in the webshops
  • Creating and enrolling yearly online marketing plans and managing online marketing budgets
  • Overseeing the addition of new products to the website, ensuring products are shown to their best potential and looking for cross and up-selling opportunities
  • Sharing online development and trends with different departments and disciplines within the business
  • Planning and communicating marketing/campaigns for the Scandics webshops, generating PR and evaluating and reporting on various campaign triggers and marketing activities
  • Creating various customer journeys, implementing and improving those among various online marketing channels and monitoring customer satisfaction
  • Delivering input into forecasting seasonal trend and necessary demand levels
  • Maximising team performance by ensuring the team are trained to a high standard

We ask:

  • Knowledge of digital marketing and eCommerce is a must for this role and a proven record of growing online sales and driving revenue within a similar B2C business
  • Degree in Marketing Management, eCommerce, Business, or similar
  • Strong influencing skills and able to create the right internal and external relationships, business partnerships and networks
  • Proactive, inquisitive, and able to investigate and understand how shopper’s needs & behaviours evolve
  • Able to create new & sustainable operating models to shape future business
  • Able to tackle the demands of ever-evolving technological implements with ease
  • Excellent written and verbal (NL/UK) skills
  • Be a proven people manager with a positive/enthusiastic attitude and be keen to grow
  • Strategic thinker with an adaptable and flexible approach (to work and working hours)
